Pr Douglas Wallace will receive the Gruber Genetics Prize for Groundbreaking Contributions to Mitochondrial Genetics. The award ceremony will be held on November 9, and it is why he invited Dr Meagan McManus to introduce Targeting Mitochondria 2012, which will be held in Berlin on November 8-9.
